BUYER’S GUIDE · A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT
A fabric description tells you more than a promise of perfect sleep. Start with fibre, weave and how you will care for it.
This is a category guide, not a hands-on product test. Product-specific comparisons will identify their sources and checked dates.
Read the fibre label
Record the fibre composition. A bamboo-derived textile may be viscose or lyocell; check the actual material description.
Look at weave and construction
Thread count alone cannot tell you how comfortable a sheet will feel. Compare construction, fabric weight if supplied and your own preferences.
Check what “cooling” means
Is the claim about initial touch, moisture handling or a measured temperature change? Ask for test conditions and avoid treating an unsupported claim as a proven benefit.
Fit and care
Check fitted-sheet depth, sizing, washing instructions and drying requirements. A trial or return policy can matter when feel is subjective.
Build your shortlist
Compare the same size or variant, include total delivered cost and check the terms on the seller’s website before buying.
